Perfect Partners is a Charitable Trust based in the Greater Auckland Region that was established to train Disability Assist Dogs for people not currently supported by existing Disability Assist Dog organisations in New Zealand. We are focusing on people with neurological conditions including autism, alzheimers, acquired brain injury, and certain psychiatric conditions but will also work with other individuals.
Do not try and retrieve socks while the person is still wearing them. Wait until they are on the floor in the bedroom or laundry and then take them to the living room. This will cause the humans to exchange the washing for a fun toy.
